Ingredients
  

  • 36 oz. bag frozen meatballs Swedish meatballs work great
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 large onion thinly sliced
  • 1 can low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • Parsley for garnish
  • Mashed potatoes or egg noodles for serving

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet and add frozen meatballs.
  • Sauté meatballs until warm throughout. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  • Add unsalted butter and sliced onions to the skillet and sauté until soft and fragrant.
  • Once onions are soft, slowly pour beef broth mixture into the skillet and cook on medium-high heat for 3-5 minutes or until the sauce starts to thicken.
  • Add meatballs back to the skillet and toss them until they are covered in gravy.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes or egg noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
