Equipment

  • Skillet or frying pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Cooking utensils (spoon, spatula)
  • Measuring spoons

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp. Honey
  • 4 tbsp. Butter
  • 1 tbsp. Olive oil
  • 1 lb. Large shrimp Peeled and Deveined
  • 2 tbsp. Old Bay seasoning

Instructions

  • Prepare Honey Butter: Place the butter and honey in a skillet over medium-high heat. Stir to combine and sauté for a minute or two until melted and well blended.
  • Coat Shrimp: In a bowl, coat the peeled and deveined shrimp in olive oil and Old Bay seasoning. Mix to ensure the shrimp are evenly seasoned.
  • Cook Shrimp: Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet with the honey butter mixture. Sauté the shrimp until they are completely cooked through and turn pink, typically taking about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Serve: Once cooked, transfer the shrimp to a serving platter and drizzle with any remaining honey butter sauce from the skillet. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the amount of Old Bay seasoning based on your preference for spiciness. You can also add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for a citrusy twist.
If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can add a cornstarch slurry (cornstarch mixed with water) to the honey butter mixture before adding the shrimp.
