Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 4 large potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika optional
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese optional
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Ingredients: Peel and dice the potatoes, and dice the onion.
  • Cook the Ground Beef: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and diced onion, breaking up the beef with a spoon. Cook until the beef is browned and the onions are softened.
  • Cook the Potatoes: Add the diced potatoes to the skillet and season with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika (if using). Stir to combine. Cover the skillet and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender.
  • Optional Additions: If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese over the top during the last few minutes of cooking and cover the skillet until the cheese is melted.
  • Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Even Potato Pieces: Cut the potatoes into even-sized pieces so they cook evenly.
Cheese: For an extra rich flavor, feel free to add cheese on top.
